Although our core need is in the area of corporate/transactional law, we require candidates with heavy health law experience. Candidates should have at least seven to ten years experience with handling healthcare law matters in the context of corporate and transactional undertakings. Candidates MUST be licensed to practice in Florida (other states are a plus).
Expertise in the following areas is ideal: physician and medical practice representation of all kinds, from large transactions to employment agreement review and so forth; working in the behavioral healthcare space; hospital operations and structure. Any previous experience working with Medicare, CMS or with payors or managed care is also a plus.
