Careers at Florida Healthcare Law Firm

At the Florida Healthcare Law Firm we concentrate on representing licensed healthcare providers and business people involved in all aspects of healthcare. We are always in search of straight-shooting, excellent lawyers experience representing healthcare clients.

The team here loves our clients and what we do.  We value personal autonomy, working with good human beings and clients, and having the practice of law be an expression of being a compassionate, curious and ethical person who really likes to help others.

Although our core need is in the area of corporate/transactional law, we require candidates with heavy health law experience.  Candidates should have at least seven to ten years experience with handling healthcare law matters in the context of corporate and transactional undertakings.  Candidates MUST be licensed to practice in Florida (other states are a plus).

Expertise in the following areas is ideal:  physician and medical practice representation of all kinds, from large transactions to employment agreement review and so forth; working in the behavioral healthcare space; hospital operations and structure. Any previous experience working with Medicare, CMS or with payors or managed care is also a plus.

This is a great opportunity for growth and self-starters with ambition and passion for the law. Our compensation structure is unlimited and based on productivity. We have an excellent and successful marketing platform in place that works if you work it. Our work environment is more relaxed than most firms, but we maintain an extremely busy practice. We’ve worked at larger firms, “been there done that,” and built this place to be comfortable and fun for the long haul. We like each other and what we do. The lawyers who do the best in our model have the following characteristics:

  1. Passionate about what they do and how they do it;
  2. Entrepreneurially inclined;
  3. Self-motivated;
  4. Like to learn (personally and professionally); and
  5. Take what they do, but not themselves, seriously.
