Jose L. Lorenzo, co-counsel
Jose L. Lorenzo earned his undergraduate degree in Professional Studies from Barry University. Prior to commencing his career as an attorney, Jose worked for a residential developer and also spent nearly a decade in the South Florida banking industry. He served as Vice President of a Miami-based financial institution responsible for the management of the bank’s main office with primary emphasis
on a professional-private client group and mortgage lending activities. Mr. Lorenzo earned his Juris Doctor degree with high honors from the St. Thomas University School of Law. He graduated class valedictorian and was the recipient of scholastic achievement awards in the areas of Income Taxation, Estate and Gift Tax, Corporate Tax, Taxation of International Transactions and Real Estate Transactions. He was also the two time recipient of the distinguished West Scholastic Achievement Award.
Mr. Lorenzo spent several years working with the general counsels office of an international car rental company responsible for the acquisition of commercial properties through purchases and long-term leases. Jose serves as general counsel to several corporations with operations both in the United States and overseas, and has developed an extensive network of affiliations with law offices abroad. He also manages an active real estate, estate planning commercial law practice as the principal of the law offices of J. L. Lorenzo, P.A. with offices in Delray Beach, Florida. An accomplished speaker, Jose regularly presents educational seminars for the public as well as to private groups on the importance of proper estate planning, asset protection and related issues.
Mr. Lorenzo is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and is a current member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
