An accomplished healthcare executive with over 18 years of experience as a top managed care leader, Novelette specializes in audit and recovery operations and overpayment recovery demands.
Her professional experience includes work with a variety of the nation’s largest and well-known payor organizations including United Healthcare, where prior to joining Maverick, she held the position of Director of Audit & Recovery. As Director, Novelette was responsible for UHC’s national audit and recovery program identifying overpayments for Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid paid claims. Novelette also impressively held positions of the same high regard with Vista Health Plan, HealthNet and CIGNA amongst others.
Novelette graduated from State University of New York College with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and earned her Master’s of Public Health (M.P.H) in Health Policy and Management at Nova Southeastern University.
